Luggage Racks For Motorcycles

Luggage rack for vintage motorbike? Do any modern rack fit or maybe I can modify one?

I have not been able to find a luggage rack for my 1984 Honda Nighthawk CB 700 S and I am getting frustrated. From what I understand, luggage racks just require the bolt holes to be in the right place, but I can find no listing of what new or used racks would fit my motorcycle.

I’ve seen lots of sportsbike riders wearing backpacks to haul their gear.

It’s going to be tough to find custom made parts to fit a 28 year-old motorcycle. Perhaps you could find a “universal fit” unit and modify it enough to work for you.
